Job description:

The specific responsibilities are amongst others:

  • Develop, maintain and promote quality within the organization. 
  • Motivate employees to give feedback on existing and future processes. 
  • Develop, assure and maintain the quality of processes, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2015) and quality audits/reviews. 
  • Interface and constant exchange with other European affiliates on quality integration. 
  • Evaluate and improve the quality of the daily operations. 
  • Secure that the processes and procedures are supporting the business. 
  • Manage internal and external audits: planning, preparation, execution & reporting.
  • Support process owners to improve company processes. 
  • You report directly to the business assurance & compliance director. 
  • You act as a quality expert. 

Furthermore, the quality manager handles GDPR as a process driven workstream, in close collaboration with the legal director and tender strategy manager. S/He is also in charge of other company-wide projects and implementation.

Requested competences and skills:

You are a convincing communicator able to follow through with the virtual teams you create. You are an experienced project manager able to combine ground work and strategic work.

  • You have a bachelor or master’s degree.
  • You have proven experience in a quality role (process management, supporting business, …), preferably under ISO 9001 standards.  
  • You are a certified ISO auditor or you have proven audit experience.  
  • You are willing to roll up your sleeves. 
  • You are a team player able to demonstrate diplomacy and assertive skills in dealing with internal and external parties.
  • You are able to think and handle on a strategic (quality) level. 
  • You are flexible to learn and able to adapt easily. 
  • You are open to new projects (willing to learn GDPR legislation).  
  • You able to connect with different people and different businesses within the company. 
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/priorities and complex issues.
  • You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and you are able to communicate in Dutch and French.
