Function: As business process analyst and management advisor, you will assist the management in performing general business administration processes.

The company is a fast-growing company assisting manufacturers of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) and Medical Devices (MD) in coping with European and other regulations. Their objective is to provide manufacturers with practical solutions in the area of regulatory affairs and quality assurance. They help with the implementation of quality systems, technical documentation and the organization of performance evaluations (clinical studies). They are also authorized representatives for non-EU manufacturers and offer a unique solution for e-labeling, currently used by multi-billion-dollar medical device and IVD companies.

From their offices in Geel, Eindhoven, Turin and other international sites, they serve more than 200 customers worldwide.

Job description:

As business process analyst and management advisor you will assist the management in performing and improving general business administration processes, assist in making business plans and process improvement plans. Topics you will deal with are HR policy, financial analysis, KPI management, invoicing efficiency, contract monitoring (customers and suppliers), contract set up and administration, insurance policy (liability), IT management, continuous improvement, GDPR compliance and cost efficiency programs. You will be involved to simulate and calculate plans to further professionalize and scale up the company; support with affiliate set up assistance abroad, overall assessment of business and strategy ideas, and investment scenarios. Your focus will be on calculation and “dry run” of ideas and plans of the management and, after validation, on assisting in the implementation. Therefore, a hands-on attitude is mandatory with a good organizational and financial background. Learning curve is allowed, so MBA graduates or people with some years of consultancy background can now really “feel” what it is to make things “happening” in an entrepreneurial atmosphere. You will have an advisory role. You will be the sparring partner of the CEO; you have a potential to grow into a director’s function if successes are realized. Most of the time (90%) to work at the office in Geel. Reporting directly to the CEO.

Requested competences and skills:

  • You have a practical mindset and a can-do mentality; you are a no-nonsense person. At the company, an informal culture is present. The focus is on more on content rather than on formal form.
  • You have a degree in applied economics, or you recently graduated with an MBA degree. 
  • You have affinity with the consultancy services industry, or maybe even some experience. 
  • Knowledge of biotech, pharma, medical devices or diagnostics would be an asset but is not mandatory. 
  • Interest to learn about this niche industries is important. 
  • You have a learning spirit, as the company offers you a lot of chances within this function to grow into a clear managerial function. 
  • You are a team player, a bridge builder between the different aspects of running the company. 
  • You are quality-driven.
