Job description:

Our goal is to deliver the right technical solution, processes and strategy within the healthcare environment in order to improve health outcomes.  We are looking for a passionate IT talent with a strong customer orientation to work here in Belgium till end of 2021 to support our growth.

You have an IT education and you have gained experience in delivering projects.  You are open to travel across Belgium to install and support new middleware installation projects in various hospitals.  Our middleware is used to run large highly automatised laboratories in hospitals and in these projects we also supply the instruments that carry out the medical testings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan ahead the projects with your peers and customers.
  • Deliver software installation and conversion projects at the customers; various hospital laboratories in Belgium as a team member.
  • Ensure the connectivity and proper functioning of the installed instruments in the laboratory.
  • Manage progressively the projects in a wider sense as you learn more, you will be trained extensively by us. 
  • Gain knowledge of the healthcare sector and help customers to run successful installations at across 50+ sites. 

Requested competences and skills:

  • You have an educational background in IT.
  • You have 5 - 10 years of professional experience.
  • You are eager to learn more of the healthcare sector and novel diagnostics technologies.
  • Ideally you can communicate in French, Dutch and English or at least in two of these languages. 
  • You have a practical mindset; you work in an efficient way. 
  • You have a broad knowledge of software and hardware; you have a basic knowledge of databases, networks and SQL. 
  • Experience or knowledge of laboratory organization or instrumentation would be a strong asset (this is not a mandatory requirement). 
  • You are willing to travel across Belgium for IT consultancy projects.
